SANDESTIN, Fla. – Appalachian State shot a team-297 is tied for ninth with UT Arlington following the opening round of the 2017 Sun Belt Men’s Golf Championships on Sunday at Raven Golf Club.
Teams endured a three and half hour rain delay mid-morning before going back out to complete the first round about 1:30 p.m. CT. Teams finished their first rounds, and the second round was underway when darkness ended play around 7:30 p.m.
Teams will finish the second round, of which App has played about nine holes, and play a third round on Monday.
