BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (0-1) will make the short trip to Banner Elk, N.C. for a 2:30 p.m. contest on Tuesday against Lees-McRae in the C.D. Chesley Indoor Tennis Courts.
The match was originally scheduled as the Mountaineers home opener this past Saturday, but the winter storm that blanketed much of the east coach postponed the match. With the home match cancelled this past Saturday, the Mountaineers now have three-straight road matches to begin the season.
Appalachian’s lone contest thus far was a 7-0 setback to then-No. 74 UNCW on the road.
