BOONE, N.C. – Thirty-six Appalachian State student-athletes received their letter jackets on Wednesday evening.
The recipients were first-year letterwinners from baseball, women's golf, men's golf, softball, women's tennis, men's tennis, men's track & field, women's track & field and wrestling.
Sponsored by the Former Athletes Association, the ceremony occurs twice a year to honor all letterwinners at the conclusion of their seasons. Student-athletes, coaches, staff and members of the App State administration were in attendance to celebrate the accomplishment.
The presentation included remarks from Director of Athletics , Director of Student-Athlete Development and FAA member Hank Hardin.
