STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – Appalachian State opens the 54-hole, three-day 24th Annual John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate on Sunday morning. App State will tee off beginning at 10 a.m. on No. 10 on Sunday. The Mountaineers will play with Western Carolina and Winthrop in the opening round.
App is coming off finishing ninth at the Lowcountry Intercollegiate last weekend. Only 14 strokes separated the Top 10 teams. A choppy start and a sloppy finish took away a lot of solid golf in between for Coach Heather Brown’s team. Senior Hannah Craver tied for sixth to notch a Top 10 finish.
