Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau has been fired, General Manager Bob Murray announced Friday morning.
Murray was expected to hold a news conference at Honda Center later Friday morning to address the move, made two days after the Ducks were eliminated from the playoffs by the Nashville Predators in the first round, the fourth straight Game 7 loss at home under Boudreau.
“I would like to thank Bruce for his hard work and dedication to the franchise,” Murray said in a statement. “This was a very difficult decision to make.
