Take that giddiness down a notch: Bristol Palin says that this time, she got pregnant on purpose.
"This pregnancy was actually planned," she wrote on her blog Sunday. "Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."
Last month, Palin's wedding to Dakota Meyer was called off at the last minute, though the party in Kentucky went on.
So, made a mistake? Yup. Made the mistake her "giddy" critics assume?
