It is game day in Orange County, and the Anaheim Ducks are gearing up for their final showdown of the season against the Chicago Blackhawks. Twice this season these teams have already met, and both have walked away with a victory. However, the Ducks are in quite a different position this time around.
Oh, how the “Mighty” have fallen. It’s time for the Ducks to dust off their golf clubs and get ready for a summer full of relaxation at the links. For the first time in six seasons, they will miss the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
This leads them to a crossroad tonight, as well as many of us fans.
