UCF Wins 2017 American Women’s Golf Championship

PALM COAST, Fla. – UCF shot a 1-under-par 287 during the final round to win the 2017 American Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship by three strokes Tuesday afternoon at the Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach Resort & Golf Club. The Knights, who won the American Championship title in 2015, finished the three-day event 4-under 860.

UCF shot rounds of 284, 289, and 287, and placed three individuals among the Top 10. SMU finished second with a three-round total of 863 (290-290-283) and shot the lowest round of the day at 5-under 283, while Houston was third with an 867 (290-282-295).
