PROVIDENCE, R.I - The American Athletic Conference improved to 5-0 in week six of the collegiate men's basketball season as Tulsa was victorious in the lone game on the Thursday docket. The Golden Hurricane held home court against New Orleans, 70-60.

DaQuan Jeffries recorded his third career double-double with 20 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to lead Tulsa to a 70-60 win over visiting New Orleans on Thursday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
It was the third 20-point outing of the season for Jeffries, the reigning American Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
