PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference and the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, as part of its Extra Yard for Teachers (EYFT) program, once again will partner together for the benefit of education throughout the 2017 college football season. From Storrs, Connecticut to Dallas, Texas, teachers and students in the surrounding communities of American member institutions will be the beneficiaries of the College Football Playoff’s philanthropic organization.
This fall, the CFP Foundation will be distributing $150,000 through DonorsChoose.org, $10,000 for each institution to fund DonorsChoose.org projects impacting schools, teachers and students in their respective cities and $10,000 for The American to fund its Football Media Day Community Service event.
