The houndstooth pattern long has been associated with legendary Alabama coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, who wore a signature houndstooth hat throughout his Hall of Fame career. Naturally, Crimson Tide fans have celebrated the coach’s legacy by increasingly using the pattern in creative ways to show their support.
One fan has taken the motif a step further. Make that many steps further.
