There is more than football at Alabama – there is futbol.
Last month, The University of Alabama Director of Athletics Bill Battle announced the hiring of Wes Hart as the new women’s soccer coach for the Crimson Tide. Hart comes to Tuscaloosa after two seasons as an assistant with Florida State, including the national championship season in 2014.
Hart’s collegiate career included playing time at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Washington, followed by six years in Major League Soccer with the Colorado Rapids and San Jose Earthquakes. Prior to joining the Florida State staff, he spent eight years in a variety of coaching roles with the Colorado Rush including Director of Coaching Academy.
