Steve Sarkisian not solely to blame for Atlanta Falcons' offensive decline, coach Dan Quinn says

Last week, when the hot rumor in the NFL was Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian heading to join good friend Pete Carroll on the Seattle Seahawks staff, Atlanta coach Dan Quinn said Sarkisian wasn't going anywhere.

"Zero chance of that," Quinn said at the time about Sarkisian leaving Atlanta.

Since then, the Falcons' season ended. On Saturday, Atlanta lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 15-10 to wrap up the 2017 season in the Divisional Round after earning the NFC championship and the accompanying Super Bowl berth in 2016.

The way the Falcons bowed out fanned the flames under Sarkisian in Atlanta, with his detractors hoping that Quinn would give a new percentage about Sarkisian's return this week.
