It’s a very sad day at the Bama Hammer offices, one of our beloved editors Chris Hill has turned 50 and is therefore practically dead.
Chris Cheryl Hill was born in a one roomed prairie dwelling, probably made of logs, in the wilds of North Alabama in 1965. Hospitals of course didn’t come to the Decatur Alabama area until the late 1970s.
Chris Cheryl Hill was a lovely, but effeminate and quiet boy. His peers described him as “being quite the dandy.” The highlight of young Chris’ life was probably when he got to meet his childhood hero and namesake Cher.
