Former Alabama standout DeMeco Ryans would like to play an 11th NFL season in 2016. But if that doesn't work out, he's going to be fine out of football, too.
The Philadelphia Eagles released Ryans on Feb. 24, and he has not signed with another team.
Ryans hosted a charity golf tournament at Bent Brook Golf Club in Bessemer on Monday. He was prep star at Bessemer's Jess Lanier High School. At the tournament, Ryans spoke about his football future with ABC 33/40.
"Either way, I'm happy spending time with the family," Ryans said.
