Bryce Young achieves multiple historical marks with Heisman Trophy win

Bryce Young made history Saturday night as the first Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback to win the Heisman Trophy.

He won the Maxwell Award Thursday night, which is given to college football's player of the year, and that was just the beginning of what was to come for the sophomore signal-caller.

He joined Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Mark Ingram, and Lamar Jackson as the only sophomores to win the Heisman. There's also another notable quintet that was formed after Saturday's announcement. It marks the fifth instance a school has had two consecutive Heisman winners, as former Crimson Tide receiver DeVonta Smith claimed college football's highest honor last season.
