Though reporters are not permitted to watch any portion of the team’s scrimmages held in Bryant-Denny Stadium, Alabama’s media relations staff provided several notable numbers from players on offense – rushing and receiving – and defense upon its conclusion.
Sophomore running back Bo Scarbrough led the way again offensively for the Crimson Tide, recording 111 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. He rushed for 132 yards and three scores on nine attempts in the first spring scrimmage.
Among receivers, Alabama coach Nick Saban was most complimentary of juniors Robert Foster and ArDarius Stewart.
