Loading the bases hasn't been a problem this season for the University of Alabama softball team.

Leaving them loaded has.

The Crimson Tide has left the bases loaded more times this season than head coach Patrick Murphy would like to count, including twice in Friday's opening win in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional.

On Saturday, Marisa Runyon cleared the bases. She left no one stranded, and no one among the 1,817 attendees in doubt.

The sophomore slugger's grand slam in the fourth inning brought the mercy rule into play and Alabama closed out a 9-0, five-inning victory over Washington at Rhoads Stadium.
