Eli Ricks is doing everything to make sure Alabama fans are excited about him in the fall.
As a transfer from Louisiana State University, Coach Nick Saban selected him from the NCAA transfer portal to add experience, depth, and playmaking abilities to the Crimson Tide’s secondary. Ricks played 16 games in two seasons at LSU, totaling 31 tackles, six pass breakups, and five interceptions. He recorded four picks during his freshman season in 2020, making the All-Freshman Team for the Southeastern Conference. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder has been sharing positive words of affirmation on social media through the offseason.
