Alabama wrapped up spring practice Saturday. The offense successfully pushed the ball downfield in the passing game, which clearly was an emphasis this spring. The defense played mostly base coverages and fell victim to quite a few big plays.
In these types of games, there is almost a predetermined narrative a coach would like to create. That narrative was the improvement of Alabama’s passing offense, as was showcased by the 614 yards combined passing by Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa.
