Nick King, a national Top 50 prospect when he came of high school in 2013, will transfer to the University of Alabama, he confirmed on Saturday.
King, who played two years at the University of Memphis, visited the Alabama campus earlier this week, chose Alabama over Arkansas and Ole Miss. Alabama had not been actively recruiting King until the hiring of new head coach Avery Johnson.
"It was a great visit and I am looking forward to playing for Coach Johnson," King said via text message.
