Alabama Softball: Oklahoma Comes From Behind To Take Game One, 5-2

What started as a slow offensive game between the two best freshman pitchers in the country blew wide open in the top of the 6th. The Alabama softball team got out to an early 1-0 lead in the first inning off an RBI double by Jadyn Spencer, then added another run on a solo homerun by all-American Haylie McCleney.

After hitting the first batter she faced, Alexis Osorio put together five tight innings, facing only 18 batters and allowing no hits.

Callie Parsons lead off for the Sooners in the top of the 6th and singled to break up the no-hit bid.
