After a thrilling walk-off win in the opener, the Alabama softball team was able to enjoy a mostly drama-free victory in Game 2 of their Super Regional against Washington, taking down the Huskies by a 5-2 score. Reagan Dykes opened the scoring in the third with a three-run bomb, providing all of the runs the Tide would need. Andrea Hawkins and Kallie Case drove home an insurance run apiece in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively.

Sydney Littlejohn started in the circle, getting through the first two frames before running into some trouble in the third. With two runs in and the Alabama lead down to one run with two on and one out, Coach Patrick Murphy once again turned to his hot hand, Alexis Osorio.
