AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team will try to keep its winning streak going as the Zips return home for a pair of matches at LaTuchie Tennis Center this weekend.
On Friday, Feb. 24, the Zips battle Duquesne at 1 p.m. and will close out the weekend with a 2 p.m. tilt against Cleveland State on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Akron has won eight straight matches and sits at 9-2 on the season, while Duquesne is 7-3 and Cleveland State is 3-6.
"We have two strong opponents this weekend that will show us a lot about ourselves.
