SACRAMENTO, Calif. – University of Akron junior Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio) registered a 10th-place finish in the women's heptathlon on the final day of the USATF (United States of America Track and Field) Outdoor National Championships on Sunday, June 25, on the strength of a cumulative score of 5,652.
Siefring opened her day in the long jump recording the eighth-best jump with a mark of 19-5.50 (5.93m). She followed with a throw of 118-1 (36.00m) in the javelin, the 12th-best mark in the event.
Siefring saved her best for last running the 800 meters in a career-best time of 2:13.
