Syracuse's secondary a big concern against Virginia

Syracuse defensive end Ron Thompson is off to an excellent start this season, racking up five sacks in five games, including an abridged opening-week contest against Rhode Island in which he played only sparingly.

And, as Syracuse.com notes, Thompson has a particularly favorable matchup this week against Virginia, which will be without starting tackle Michael Mooney.

From Syracuse.com:

[Thompson] will likely line up against converted defensive lineman Jack English for most of the game. English has been playing tackle since preseason camp in 2014 and saw his first significant experience last week, filling in for Mooney in the third quarter.
