After returning to the Cavaliers last week, Iman Shumpert welcomed a baby girl into the world in unique fashion on Monday morning.
Iman Shumpert simultaneously played the role of doctor and Dad early Wednesday morning.
When his fiancee, Teyana Taylor, unexpectedly went into labor, Shumpert helped deliver the child into the world, according to a post from Taylor on her Instagram.
In the post, Taylor indicated that Shumpert's daughter, named Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., was born into her father's arms at 6:42 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, with Shumpert helping Taylor through the entire process.
With a pair of pushes, Shumpert's daughter arrived and, with the help of the emergency operator on the phone, Shumpert made sure the entire process was handled healthily until the ambulances arrived mere minutes after the birth.
