Georgia Tech OL Gary Brown leaves to pursue art career

Georgia Tech offensive lineman Gary Brown is leaving the school to pursue an art career, he wrote on Twitter this weekend:

If those haven't heard by now I'm leaving GT to pursue my Art career I'd like to thank all the fans of GT for always supporting the team!

Brown, a redshirt freshman, played in five games this season. The 6-foot-3, 287-pounder was the Yellow Jackets’ offensive scout team player of the year in 2014.

A former ESPN three-star prospect from Alonso High in Tampa, Florida, Brown figured to compete for a starting spot in 2016 given that the Jackets are losing three starters up front to graduation.
