Dabo Swinney Says He's Rooting for FSU in Season Opener vs. Alabama

Dabo Swinney will apparently be cheering for his conference rival Florida State in a highly anticipated opening weekend game against Alabama.

"I'm pulling for the Noles," he said when asked at ACC Media Day on Thursday, per Matt Connolly of The State.

Swinney played for Alabama and began his coaching career with the Crimson Tide before becoming the head coach of Clemson.

However, Clemson and Alabama have built a bit of a rivalry over the past two years competing in the national title games each season. The programs have split the last two championships.
