As Steve Addazio delved into the Boston College program and appraised it during interviews for the job in 2012, he thought he was inheriting a team requiring a five-year rebuild. This is year No. 5 for Addazio, though three of the first four seasons ended with bowl appearances. With the Eagles’ athletic director stepping down before the season, there will be pressure on Addazio to once again reach a bowl game.
