The dust has settled on the NFL Draft and 49ers 2024 draft class. The team has ten picks headed into the draft but left with eight draft picks. Ten players wouldn’t make the 53-man roster regardless, so it was widely assumed and speculated the 49ers would use their compensatory picks for maneuvering and trades.
The 49ers team needs were agreed upon by draft analysts and fans alike. The team needed to add a tackle to either replace Colton McKivitz and/or replace Trent Williams whenever he steps away from the game. Names like Jordan Morgan, Roger Rosengarten, and Kingsley Suamataia were all mocked or linked to the team during the lead-up to the draft.
