The Colorado Rockies are an unmitigated disaster. Tuesday’s meltdown against the Miami Marlins was the latest testament to that fact, turning the best pitching performance of the season into the worst loss of the season (so far). They dropped another one last night and are now the only team in baseball not to win a series or consecutive games this season.
The fiasco of a game on Tuesday also marked the first big league appearance for OF prospect Jordan Beck. It was an inauspicious start to the touted prospects MLB career – through no fault of his own – but the debut was noteworthy, nonetheless.
