It’s never a good thing when the NFL’s officials are the biggest storyline to come out of a weekend of games. But that’s exactly where the league finds itself after several questionable roughing-the-passer penalties had everyone talking after Week 5.
The Jets’ pass rushers have seen the flags in question – especially the ones in the Falcons/Bucs and Raiders/Chiefs games. And just like everyone else, they’re not exactly sure what is a roughing the passer penalty and what is OK. But they know it’s something they have to be mindful of Sunday when they face the Packers, especially considering they’ll be playing one of the most high-profile quarterbacks in the history of the league, Aaron Rodgers.
