The Charlotte Hornets will yet again pick in the lottery, marking the eighth straight year they will have done so. In the previous seven lottery selections, they've had a pretty high hit rate landing on guys such as Miles Bridges, P.J. Washington, LaMelo Ball, Mark Williams, and Brandon Miller. Four of those picks still remain in Charlotte and are expected to be a big part of the team's future.
But instead of taking another player at the top of the draft, I'd urge Hornets GM Jeff Peterson to trade the pick for an established veteran who can help this team immediately.
