Washington added another piece through the transfer portal today with the commitment of Rhode Island’s Luis Kortright. He started 31 games for the Rams last season averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Kortright was an unrated recruit coming out of high school out of the Bronx despite earning all-state honors averaging 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game as a senior. He wound up at Quinnipiac where he was a heavy contributor off the bench and averaged 10.
