It is funny how quickly things can change.
A couple of weeks ago, people were laughing about the idea of discussing Carolina Head Coach Rod Brind’Amour and his contract. It was a no-brainer that he would return.
It is a bit more serious of a discussion now.
Brind’Amour “reportedly” delayed signing an offer from management earlier because he wanted all of his assistants taken care of as well. Sometime after that, also “reportedly”, the offer was taken off the table.
The Carolina coach is very loyal, but could be loyal to a fault.
It might seem a bit arrogant to management and ownership to insist on such high demands.
