Cincinnati – The Xavier Women's Tennis team wrapped up round robin play this weekend at the Cincinnati Invitational. Senior Lauren Ghidotti took home MVP honors in singles for the tournament, while also earning doubles MVP honors with junior partner Sophia Abelson.
Head Coach Doug Matthews said "Our team competed well against some quality opponents. "Lauren Ghidotti and Sophia Abelson had a great weekend, going undefeated in singles and doubles. Newcomer Elizabeth Bagerbaseh had a very good start to her Xavier career, posting a 3-0 record in singles play.
