The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday morning and in a surprise to absolutely no one, Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor was named the offensive player of the week.
Taylor ran over, around and through the Michigan defense on Saturday to the tune of 203 yards on 23 carries. For good measure he added two scores and became the first Badger in history to gain more than 200 yards on the ground against the Wolverines.
This is Taylor’s sixth career offensive player of the year award in his career and his second this season.
