Rebekah Topham led the pack in her first competition after a season off.

Topham placed first in the J.K. Gold Invitational Saturday. She claimed the top spot for the fourth consecutive year at the invitational hosted by Wichita State in Augusta. Topham is the first ever — male or female — to win the title four times. She ran the course unattached last season before electing to redshirt her junior season.

WSU’s women had five finishers in the top 10. Sophomore Winny Koskei finished behind Tophman for second, and junior Winnie Kibet finished in third.
