TAMPA—The Wichita State track and field teams wrapped up competition at the 2021 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a pair of top-five team finishes in Tampa on Sunday.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said both teams performed well.
"I told the team after the meet that this was a celebration of Wichita State Track and Field," Rainbolt said. "We were just short of our team goals on both the men's and the women's sides, but we actually did outperform our form chart on both sides and both teams had so many great performances.
