Bronco men’s soccer ends 2025 season at No. 16 Furman in NCAA Second Round

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Western Michigan University men's soccer team had its 2025 season come to a close on Sunday afternoon in a 1-0 loss to the 16-seed Furman Paladins.

The Broncos fought for a full 90 minutes at Stone Soccer Stadium but weren't able to find the equalizer to advance to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen. Seven players recorded a shot in the match with graduate defender Mathieu Beauvain having the lone shot on goal. Also putting numbers on the stat sheet was junior defender Braxton Arpachinda, redshirt senior Roni Sylejmani, junior forward Henrik Boer, senior forward Jonathan Stout, sophomore midfielder Gabe Villagomez, and sophomore midfielder Braden Stevanovic.
