Mountaineers Face Pitt Sunday in Morgantown

The match is free and open to the public.

“Sunday is another great opportunity for this team to get better and work on the lessons we took away from our match against Cincinnati,” Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. “Pitt is a quality opponent, and we hope to continue to develop our skills in preparation for the 2017 season.”

The Mountaineers opened their 2017 spring slate with a 1-1 draw against Cincinnati on March 26. Sophomore forward Hannah Abraham broke scoreless play with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. The Bearcats answered 45 seconds later, and WVU settled for the tie.
