DALLAS, Texas - West Virginia University sophomore guard Tynice Martin was named All-America Honorable Mention, as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Saturday, at the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four in Dallas.
Martin grabs her second All-America Honorable Mention accolade after earning the same honor by the Associated Press earlier this week. She is first sophomore in program history to earn both AP and WBCA All-America Honorable Mention.
This season, Martin was a unanimous All-Big 12 First Team selection. She scored 82 points in the Big 12 Championship for third-most all-time and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
