The Mountaineers are 0-5 in the past five years against the Sooners. Oklahoma has been the class of the conference in that time and the WVU football team is still finding its footing as the new team on the block.
West Virginia does have two impressive wins against the Sooners, though. In fact, they are two of the best victories in program history. The Mountaineers have hung tough against the Sooners twice since joining the Big 12, but still have fallen in the fourth quarter.
If the WVU football team can put a full game together in its next attempt against OU — this weekend in Norman, Oklahoma — the Mountaineers will earn that elusive victory.
