'The challenge at West Ham United is spectacular' - Manuel Pellegrini in conflict with board just two weeks into the job

New West Ham United boss is already upset with members of the board at the London Stadium, according to reports.

The Chilean, who won the Premier League in 2014 with Manchester City, was appointed last month as David Moyes’ successor.

But according to the Daily Mirror, problems have already arisen at the top.

Pellegrini has had bids for a number of high-profile transfer targets knocked back – something he feels the board need to take account for.

Close friends of the 64-year-old claim he accepted the job on the back of a number of several promises, which he now feels are being unfulfilled.
