Wizards sign Alex Len, according to report

On Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that free agent center Alex Len signed with the Washington Wizards. Len played for the Toronto Raptors earlier this season, where he averaged 2.3 points per game.

Free agent center Alex Len has agreed to a one-year deal with the Washington Wizards, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. After clearing waivers, Len had multiple suitors and chose opportunity with Wizards, who needed depth in frontcourt.

Len is currently in his eighth NBA season after being the fifth pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, but he hasn’t played over 70 games in an NBA season since the 2018-19 season, when he averaged a career-high 11.
