Dating back to the summer of 2019, the Washington Wizards’ front office, led by Tommy Sheppard, has preached that this season would be measured through development and growth as opposed to wins and losses.
We are just about at the halfway point of the season and although the Wizards sit near the bottom of the East, they have been able to get a good look at a lot of different players who may be useful moving forward. As of right now, it appears that many people believe the idea is to develop as many prospects as they can to pair with Bradley Beal and John Wall and return to contention next season.
