The Washington Football Team announced a pair of moves that were expected after Sunday’s big injury. Right guard Brandon Scherff is playing on the franchise tag this year after not being able to work out a long-term contract with the team again. In Arizona he went down with an injury after a Cardinals defender rolled up on the back of his right leg.
There wasn’t any word on the severity of the injury until Head Coach Ron Rivera held his presser yesterday. He said that the team got some positive news, but Scherff would likely miss a few weeks.
