Update: Redskins sign OLB Noah Spence, Place Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on IR

The Redskins will reportedly be adding a new OLB today when they sign Noah Spence. He had a workout for the team last week, but left without a contract. Spence (6'2", 251 lbs, 25 years old) was a 2nd round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016.

Spence is a former five-star high school recruit who was a rising star at Ohio State -- a first-team All-Big 10 selection as a sophomore in 2013 -- before running into trouble for failed drug tests and getting banned permanently from the conference. Spence admitted that his two failed drug tests were due to ecstasy use and he checked in to rehab in order to seek help.
