One of the biggest storylines of the Redskins season was the holdout of Trent Williams. The team’s long-time left tackle missed the entire season amid tensions with the team’s medical staff, who had apparently misdiagnosed a cancerous growth on his head.
Williams had vowed never to play for the Redskins again and seemingly blamed the team’s medical staff and Bruce Allen for the issue. But now, with Allen gone and the medical/training staff’s status being uncertain, could Williams return to the team?
While nothing is certain at the moment, Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic is reporting that a source said Williams returning is “a possibility”.
